Leesa came to Jewitt McLuckie & Associates in August 2021, bringing a long-standing background in academic publishing, most notably at the Canadian Medical Association and Canadian Pharmacists Association. Her roles ranged from editor to managing editor to Publisher — positions that required a keen eye for detail, finely honed organizational skills and business savvy. More recently, she was Manager of Sections at the Canadian Bar Association, overseeing liaison and committee activities as well as budgeting for 40 sections of law.

In her spare time, Leesa enjoys cherished time with her family and friends, as well as kayaking, hiking, mixed media painting, reading, cryptic crosswords, card-playing and blissful summer weekends on Ottawa’s outdoor patios.
