Mary Rose graduated from the combined Political Science and French Common Law program at the University of Ottawa in 2023, where she obtained both her Bachelor’s Degree and Law Degree in 6 years.
While pursuing her legal education, Mary Rose completed an internship focused on Immigration and Refugee law, alongside her roles at a regulatory college and a crown corporation. Throughout her law school and work experiences, Mary Rose developed a strong interest in social justice and human rights. Mary Rose’s final law school paper delved into the healthcare barriers faced by female migrant workers in Canada, allowing her to merge her interests in immigration law, women’s rights and worker’s rights.
In her spare time, Mary Rose enjoys reading, travelling, exploring new vegetarian cuisine, and spending time with her family and friends.
